Naozumi Arai D.C. DIBAK CCSP
My Story
Dr. Naozumi Arai was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. He attended Waseda University, Tokyo Japan where he received his BA.
Dr. Arai worked at the SONY Corp in Japan. When he worked at SONY, he suffered from very severe low back injury. He went to see many orthopedic doctors for this condition, but nothing helped. As a last resort, he was referred to a chiropractic from his colleague, at this time even he didn’t know what chiropractic was about because chiropractic treatment was not well known in Japan. After a couple of visits to chiropractic treatments, his low back pain dramatically reduced. This experience changed his life to be a Chiropractor.
In 1996, Dr. Arai came to the United States to become a chiropractor and graduated from Life Chiropractic College West in 1999.
After graduating Chiropractic College, Dr. Arai worked as associate doctor in B.E.S.T. Chiropractic in Los Angeles under Dr. Homma.
In June 2002, he opened BEST Chiropractic clinic at Costa Mesa and has been serving the community. Thankfully, the number of patients visiting his clinic is increasing since then, now he is working with 2 other chiropractors.
In addition to standard training at chiropractic college, Dr. Arai has taken many post graduate education including including Diplomate of Applied Kinesiology, sports chiropractic, Gonstead Seminar, Certified Cox Distraction technique, Gonstead, Active Release Technique soft tissue management, Graston technique.
